Neighborhood Health provides affordable primary, preventive, and women’s healthcare to Middle Tennessee residents. Also offered are counseling services and dental care that is either free or on a sliding scale. Special consideration is given for homeless individuals. Additional services include a 24-hour call line to speak to a provider about health concerns, counselors to help find health coverage, and interpreter services. Homeless clients have access to psychiatric, mental health/substance abuse, and transportation services.

Nourish Food Bank

Through the Nashville Public Library (NPL) adults over the age of 18 can get free access to BCycle’s electric pedal-assist bicycles throughout Nashville. By checking out a BCycle fob with a NPL library card, users can get unlimited 2-hour trips for a week.

Oasis Center

The Oasis Center provides services for homeless or run-away youths with food, self-care facilities, assistance finding lodgings, counseling, transportation, assistance preparing for college, job support, as well as teen support for personal growth. The Oasis Center also liaises with other agencies to support overcoming drug abuse. The R.E.A.L. Program addresses youth in the juvenile justice system. The Oasis Center also offers a 24-hour crisis hotline.

One Generation Away
