The Ronald McDonald House Charities has two facilities in Nashville. The House is open year round and lodges families of hospitalized children on a needs basis. Families must be referred by a social worker. The Family Room at Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital provides a home-like setting for families of the Children’s Hospital. Meals and laundry facilities are provided for all residents. The homes include a playroom, a teen game room, and emotional support from staff. Senior Ride Nashville

Senior Ride Nashville was created in 2016 by the Council for Aging of Middle Tennessee and the Senior Transportation Leadership Coalition with the goal of connecting and empowering older adults. Available for individuals 60 years old and over that reside in Davidson County. Ride requests must be made at least 7 days in advance, due to rides being provided by volunteer drivers. Riders may use a transport chair, walker, or portable oxygen tank. Use of this equipment should be noted at the time of ride scheduling, to ensure volunteers have space in their car.

Sexual Assault Center
