SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae)

CKM offers self-paced instruction on using the freely accessible SciENcv application to help researchers create an online profile that is formatted to meet National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) and other government agencies’ requirements for grant submission and grant annual reports.

Created by National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Institutes of Health, the SciENcv online tool facilitates creating an NIH Biosketch by using data from other sources. SciENcv can auto-populate your NIH Biosketch using data from your following accounts: My Bibliography within MyNCBI and ORCID.

Objective

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other U.S. government funding agencies require submission of grant team members’ profile documents conforming to agency requirements.  This online training and consultation will equip individuals with the skills and instruction needed to establish their SciENcv account / profile which can be leveraged to auto-populate the NIH Biosketch form.  Instruction is also available to transfer information from an existing ORCiD profile to SciENcv.
