The Project offers job preparedness classes, assistance with job searches, assistance in keeping employment, help with housing, and provides an environment for transitional employment. With special services for pregnant and postpartum women, this gender-specific program also allows children to accompany their mothers. Renewal House offers affordable recovery housing for women and their children that qualify (must be 6 months in recovery, income verification). Renewal house also offers parenting and other life skills classes (e.g. GED preparation, personal finance management). Transporation is available for individuals within Davidson County.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities has two facilities in Nashville. The House is open year round and lodges families of hospitalized children on a needs basis. Families must be referred by a social worker. The Family Room at Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital provides a home-like setting for families of the Children’s Hospital. Meals and laundry facilities are provided for all residents. The homes include a playroom, a teen game room, and emotional support from staff. A weekday shuttle is available from the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
