Description

Senior Ride Nashville was created in 2016 by the Council for Aging of Middle Tennessee and the Senior Transportation Leadership Coalition with the goal of connecting and empowering older adults. Available for individuals 60 years old and over that reside in Davidson County, ride requests must be made at least 7 days in advance, due to the rides being provided by volunteer drivers. Riders may use a transport chair, walker, or portable oxygen tank.

The annual membership fee is $25 and each round trip costs $6. When joining, you’ll pay an initial fee of $49, which covers your annual fee plus four (4) rides. Payment assistance is available on request.

The preschool/developmental program serves children up to 5 years old and the afterschool tutoring and summer activities is for kids in grades K-12. Other programs offered are emergency food boxes (in partnership with Second Harvest), a variety of counseling options, and English as a Learned Language. Provides lunch delivery for low-income or homebound seniors and/or adults with disabilities.
