Safe At Home provides survivors with a 'substitute' address that can be used as an official address for government and non-government purposes in order to insure the safety of participants.

The YWCA Domestic Violence Center provides emergency safe housing (maximum 45 days), counseling and support to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. Men who are victims are afforded housing through a referral source. Case managers help women locate the community resources they need. The Center also engages in community outreach to educate and raise awareness about domestic abuse. The Center maintains a 24-hour crisis hotline.
