This directory was created in Spring 2017 as part of the Center for Knowledge Management (CKM)’s research into the social needs of a population of local community health center patients. St. Luke’s Community House provides a variety of services for low-income households, homebound seniors, and children. The preschool/developmental program serves children up to 5 years old and afterschool tutoring and summer activities for kids in grades K-12. The Next Door

The Next Door offers medical and psychological assistance to women trying to overcome substance addiction, conditions co-occurring with addiction, traumatic experiences and/or incarceration. Services include inpatient and outpatient recovery programs. Family group therapy sessions are offered. The Next Door offers the Freedom Recovery Community for permanent affordable housing for women in recovery from addiction and their children.

Youth Villages offer programs to address problems experienced by vulnerable youth (17-21) who are aged out of foster care or the juvenile justice system. YWCA Shelter

Description:
The YWCA Domestic Violence Center provides emergency safe housing(maximum 45 days), counseling and support to women victims and their children. Men who are victims are afforded housing through a referral source. Case managers help women locate the community resources they need. The Center also engages in community outreach to educate and raise awareness about domestic abuse. The Center maintains a 24-hour crisis hotline.
