Skill: Solaris

Definition
Brand of Unix sold by Sun Microsystems. Solaris started as a version of Unix licensed from AT&T, but Sun bought out the licence from a later owner, and no longer pays royalties on sales. Although most commonly found on Sun workstations and servers, versions have been made available for the Intel 80486 and later processors.
